  • WHITE BELT ADULT RULES

  • PURPLE, BROWN, BLACK AND OPEN BELT ADULT RULES

The WSOJJ strictly prohibits "sandbagging" , which means competing below one's belt or experience level. If a competitor is caught and proven to be sandbagging, he/she will be disqualified and banned from all future WSOJJ events. Winners of every division with more than 32 competitors, or with more than two 1ST PLACE wins in a row, are not allowed to compete at that belt level again. For example, if a Blue Belt wins 2 consecutive tournaments at Blue Belt level, he/she must compete in Purple Belt or higher levels from then on. If a competitor loses 3 consecutive events at a particular belt level, he/she may move back to the belt below. If you have information that a particular competitor may be sandbagging, please email us HERE. Thank you.
